We are aware that an NPS member recently posted photographs of a pony being worked at home with a rider who was too large for it. Members are asked to bear in mind rule 2.1 f) and the welfare principles which underpin the introduction of that rule. Wherever possible the NPS would encourage members to ensure that ponies are ridden by jockeys of the correct size and weight for the pony.
