The NPS currently contracts out the management of the British Riding Pony Stud Book (BRPSB) as a PIO to Weatherbys Stud Book Services. The current contract for services expires on 31st March 2019 at which time the NPS believes that it should self-administer these services. The NPS gave Weatherbys Stud Book Services notice of its intention not to renew this service contract on 7th September 2018.
The BRPSB is a significant element of the NPS and it is essential that all services to members are provided in a way that maintains the high level of service currently experienced by members under our contract with Weatherbys.
The NPS is extremely grateful to Weatherbys for the support and assistance that they have provided to the NPS during the past 5 years and hopes that this co-operative relationship can continue into the future in some form.”
