Summer 2024

We are pleased to invite shows to affiliate to the NPS for 2024. Shows running from 1st April 2024 – 28th July 2024 are to have 2024 qualifiers for the NPS Summer Championship. The finals will be held at the NPS Summer Championship Show at Royal Three Counties Showground, Malvern, 6th to 8th August 2024. Shows running after 28th July 2024 are able to hold 2025 Summer Championship qualifiers.

Why Affiliate?

• 35 plus qualifiers to choose from including ridden and in hand Silver Medal qualifiers.
• Wide range of qualifiers from M&M’s to SHP and SP, for ridden, in hand and WHP.
• Qualifies for our prestigious 116th Summer Championship show –6th – 8th August 2024, held at Royal Three Counties Showground, Malvern.
• Access to a highly specialised panel of judges (Official list of judges can be seen here)
• Breed shows that affiliate may use their own breed panel judges.
• Our three day Summer Championship Show is growing in numbers each year with over 3700 entries in 2023.
• Straight forward and easy rules to follow.
• Schedule wording is already done for you and only has to be copied and pasted into the schedule.
• Anyone can compete, only NPS members will qualify (Breed Show and certain classes carry exceptions).

How to Affiliate

• Download and complete a copy of the relevant NPS Affiliation Form (Summer or Winter) (below) and return to the NPS office with the appropriate fee (as described on the form).
• When writing your show schedule the relevant NPS Affiliation Pack (Summer or Winter) will provide you with the correct wording that can be easily copied and pasted into your schedule.
• To save schedule space the wording “To be run under NPS Rules 2023” is permitted to be used under each class. The rule book is available to download here and a copy will be sent with your show pack.
• Please then send your final schedule to shows@nationalponysociety.com or to the NPS office by post to be approved.
• We will then send you a ‘Show Pack’ containing qualification cards, any rosettes that are required (i.e. Silver Medal), a 2023 NPS rule book and a judges book.
• Results of the NPS affiliated classes are then required to be sent to the NPS Office or to shows@nationalponysociety.com within 7 days of your show.
• You can also download mark sheets to use in WHP classes. If you are running a RIHS WHP qualifier, these will be sent with your show pack
